Transformative programs, facilities, and technology is key to our region’s future workforce. CSM’s new Regional Campus will be centrally located in Hughesville offering specialized programs in high- demand growth areas in the trades, health sciences, nursing, the arts, as well as athletic fields. Funds will provide the flexibility and ability to develop more new and enhanced programs to meet growing workforce demands such as cybersecurity, mechatronics, and others.

Funds are also needed to serve special groups, such as: veterans, minority underachievers, students with disabilities, etc. to provide the programs and services needed to help them succeed. One in 19 of our students is a veteran.

Online learning and webinars are in high demand and are an effective and efficient way to deliver courses. Funds will also be used to develop more online courses, programs and continuing education offerings using instructional technology, state-of-the art equipment and items not covered by state and local funding.

Invest today $3M to support new programs, facilities, and technology:

  • Expand “regional” access with centrally located campus in Hughesville and provide funding for equipment and technology at the new Center for Trades and Energy Training facility
  • Provide program funding to create new programs serving all campuses
  • Open a veterans lounge on each campus
  • Expand the cybersecurity lab at Leonardtown campus
  • Provide equipment and travel funds for CSM’s 13 athletic programs
  • Create an art loan and purchase program
  • Enhance CSM’s Men of Excellence Program
  • Expand online learning opportunities for individuals and businesses
