Establish a Scholarship

Founders of the Joseph H. Morton Memorial Scholarship Fund for Construction Trades and Industrial Training

“The family of Joseph H. Morton felt a scholarship at the College of Southern Maryland Center for Trades and Energy Training would fulfill his life’s pursuit of education. Mr. Morton was solely committed to vocational education and the opening of the Center fell right in line with our mission to somehow keep his memory, helping those in the local community he loved.”

Scholarships are a key component of the College of Southern Maryland’s efforts to help students succeed. The CSM Foundation currently manages a number of annual and endowed scholarships, which allow the college to plan for the future and ensure that scholarship funds are available for an award every year. Over the past five years, the Foundation has awarded more than $1.5 million in scholarships. Allow us to work with you in supporting student success by establishing a new scholarship in memory of a loved one or donating to an existing one.
